MOLLUSCS 2012 – the triennial conference of the Malacological Society of Australasia
The MSA is pleased to announce that our triennial conference, MOLLUSCS 2012, will be held at St Mary’s College, University of Melbourne from 3-6 December 2012. MOLLUSCS 2012 will bring together researchers, students, industry professionals and society members to focus on current molluscan research and issues.

http://www.molluscsociety.org Abstracts submissions on any area of molluscan research will be considered for oral and poster presentations. The scientific program will run for three days and include general session and the following four symposia:
- Threatened and endangered species
- Molecular markers and barcoding
- Molluscs and climate change
- Molecules and molluscs
The cost of registration also includes the welcome function, poster and cocktail session and conference dinner.
Two optional pre-conference workshops will be held on 30 November – 2 December at Queenscliff Marine Station, south of Melbourne. Each workshop will include field work and lab instruction, focusing on collecting, identifying and handling a diverse range of molluscs.
